Did Donald Trump steal the 2024 election?

Donald Trump to this day continues to claim the 2020 US presidential election was 'stolen' by Joe Biden and the Democrats. This is despite him bringing 62 legal challenges against election results in swing states across America, all of which failed due to the total lack of evidence. His own attorney Rudi Giuliani was forced to pay damages to two women election workers after making baseless allegations that they had helped to falsify the result in Georgia. Now, in a little-reported court case in the USA, there is clear evidence that some inexplicable things occurred in certain areas of New York and elsewhere in November 2024, which appeared to benefit Donald Trump. The case is in its early stages and there is nothing definitive yet, but all the evidence points to some, let us say, very unusual results.

In short, it’s possible that he and his supporters stole the 2024 presidential election.

Here's the background. In 2024 in Rockland County NY, District 35, the Democrat candidate for the Senate, Kirsten Gillebrand, got 331 votes while the Republican got a measly 82 votes. District 35 has a clear Democrat majority. Total votes cast, including mailed-in votes, was 417.

But on the same ticket, the Democrat's presidential candidate Kamala Harris received 0 votes, while Donald Trump received 552 votes!!

In another district, 58, Gillebrand got 544 votes, way ahead of her Republican challenger's 34 votes. But weirdly, Donald Trump got 588 votes and Harris just 2. Similarly in District 55, Gillebrand got 909 votes and her Republican opponent 42. But Trump, again on the same ballot, got 986 votes (99.8% of the total) and Harris just 2.

Here are the actual printouts for District 55:

On the surface, across these three districts, it means out of 1,784 voters who picked the Democrat's candidate for senator, just 4 voted for Kamala Harris for president while 1,780 switched to Trump. It is literally unbelievable. While, it's not unknown for voters to choose one party to represent them in the Senate and another in the White House (it’s called the drop-off rate), these numbers are simply off the scale.

An incredibly detailed academic study made after the 2020 election shows that the drop-off rate is usually around 1.2% to 1.9%. This sounds reasonable to me. There are always a few voters who for one reason or another can’t stand a presidential candidate for the party that he or she prefers.

Another Senate candidate, Diane Sare, this time for the La Rouche Party but again in Rockland County has brought a legal challenge against the Rockland Board of Elections, alleging they miscounted votes for her in the 2024 election.

She was recorded as having received 5 and 2 votes respectively in districts 39 and 62. Afterward, she did a quick survey in her own street and quickly found more people who said they had voted for her than Rockland’s tally showed. She now has sworn affidavits from 6 voters in District 39 and 3 in District 62 who say they voted for her and is confident with more research she can uncover many more.

Her case is being supported by Smart Elections who claim to be "experienced, nonpartisan election security advocates."  In their research comparing the drop-off rate between swing states and non-swing states, they found little difference for Harris but for Trump the rate virtually tripled in the six swing states that won him the election:

This is not normal.

In a Substack post, which makes some extraordinary allegations about Elon Musk somehow manipulating the result, the author claims, with some justification that: "The data makes no statistical sense. A clean sweep in all seven swing states. The fall of the Blue Wall. Eighty-eight counties flipped red—not one flipped blue."

"Every victory landed just under the threshold that would trigger an automatic recount. Donald Trump outperformed expectations in down-ballot races with margins never before seen—while Kamala Harris simultaneously underperformed in those exact same areas."

"If one were to accept these results at face value—Donald Trump, a 34-count convicted felon, supposedly outperformed Ronald Reagan. According to the co-founder of the Election Truth Alliance:

“These anomalies didn’t happen nationwide. They didn’t even happen across all voting methods—this just doesn’t reflect human voting behavior.”

"They were concentrated. Targeted. Specific to swing states and Texas—and specific to Election Day voting. And the supposed explanation? 'Her policies were unpopular.'

"Let’s think this through logically. We’re supposed to believe that in all the battleground states, Democratic voters were so disillusioned by Vice President Harris’s platform that they voted blue down ballot—but flipped to Trump at the top of the ticket?

  • Not in early voting.
  • Not by mail.
  • With exception to Nevada, only on Election Day.

"And only after a certain threshold of ballots had been cast—where VP Harris’s numbers begin to diverge from her own party, and Trump’s suddenly begin to surge.

"As President Biden would say, “C’mon, man."

I have no idea if these claims are true or not but I have read previously of some serious studies that show voting in some areas starting off favouring Harris but then, as the pattern emerged, Trump slowly and inexplicably overhauling Harris.

Anyway, it now looks like we might get to the truth. A Judge in the New York Supreme Court, ruled a couple of weeks ago that 'discovery' must now take place, shifting the lawsuit brought by Smart Elections into the evidence-gathering stage. Ms Sare wants a full hand recount of the Presidential and US Senate races in Rockland County.

What is the likelihood that something will be found? I have no idea.  But, we do know that Trump attempted to manipulate the 2020 result in Georgia because there's a complete audio record of his telephone call with Georgia's Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger where he urged him to ‘find’ (i.e. falsify) 11,780 votes.

Trump frequently accuses his opponents of being guilty of the crimes or wrongdoings that he himself is either contemplating or has already carried out. The convicted felon, longtime fraudster, grifter and adjudicated rapist is constantly on the alert for ways to cheat or scam his way to success.

We know that he is no student of the Constitution or respecter of democratic norms or even democracy itself. To Trump only winning matters. The means are irrelevant. The end result is everything. A known liar and fraudster who can make provably false claims of election fraud and orchestrate an insurrection to overthrow a democratically elected government is clearly not averse to a bit of election rigging himself.

And if he had lost the 2024 election he would probably be in prison and with more serious charges being pressed against him. For Trump, the stakes last November could not have been higher

I should explain that even if it was proved beyond doubt that Trump and his entourage did steal the 2024 election, it won’t remove him from office. He was confirmed by the Senate and only they can winkle him out now, and they may not want to do that.

But do keep an eye out for this one.

Trump's administration is totally out of control now with Congress representatives and judges being arrested and indicted and a military parade planned later today in Washington to celebrate the Great Leader's birthday. These are all traits of an authoritarian regime and a dictator encouraging a personality cult. I am not sure the mid-term elections due in 2026 will ever take place.

If he can crank things up enough to credibly declare a state of emergency, we may not see elections in 2026 at all.

Gibraltar

I note Britain, Gibraltar, and the EU have reached an agreement over the contentious border issue. The outcome is the only possible one and precisely what Gibraltar wanted.

The British Overseas Territory will join the EU's customs union and the Schengen travel area, meaning for Spanish workers little will change. But for UK visitors, a trip to Gibraltar will now be similar to entering the EU with Spanish officials checking passports and travel documents at the air and seaports.

Like Northern Ireland, there was only ever one of two places the new border could be located. On the land or at points of entry. In the end, both NI and Gibraltar went for the obvious solution.

Brexiteers are up in arms but they ignored the issue before the referendum and they ignored the voters in both places who chose to remain in the EU. The complexity and the location of the border is solely down to them and to Brexit.
