GE2017

The Conservatives it seems are going into government with some kind of loose arrangement with the DUP and may be able to command a majority of two in the House. It is utterly outrageous that it should take a cobbled together coalition to force through the greatest political change in anybody's lifetime, it means she is at the mercy of a variety of vested interests both in the DUP and in her own party. This could however, be a good thing for us.

MPs like Ken Clarke, Anna Soubry, Nicky Morgan and others are resolutely opposed to Brexit will be able to hold the government to account far more than they could before. A group of five or six MPs could easily threaten to abstain or even vote against the various pieces of legislation that will need to be passed. Mrs May is seriously weakened and cannot last five years, this is quite impossible. I think we will be gone by Christmas at the latest.

It is all her own fault. She is in a totally humiliating position. She started as a remainer, converted to a hard Brexiteer overnight, called an unnecessary election and it now appears she does not have the mandate she wanted she will perhaps have to revise her aim towards a soft Brexit or no Brexit at all!

She will be in the unusual position of having argued for every position there is! This is what happens when you have no principles only self interest.
