MORE RUBBISH FROM TEBBIT

Norman Tebbit is having a dig at what he calls Remainer Lords (HERE) and will presumably be even more unhappy because the government has been defeated several more times since, including on the date of Brexit and staying in the EEA (HERE). He is attacking the very people trying to stop Brexiteers laying waste to great swathes of the British economy.

It's odd that Tebbit should insert something about people wanting efficient bin collections because the wheelie bin was actually patented by The Sulo company in Germany in 1974 together with a mechanism for lifting and emptying them (HERE). So, if this is really what people want they should stay in Europe.

Tebbit would take us back to using the old circular galvanised bins separate lids and blokes wearing reinforced donkey jackets to lift them. This would certainly be good for employment but would reduce productivity and create work for British healthcare professionals and osteopaths as the number of workers with back injuries soars.
