The most recent poll in the YouGov, WhatUKthinks series has just been published this week (HERE). This is in answer to the question: In hindsight, do you think Britain was right or wrong to vote to leave the EU? It's the 65th and shows WRONG on a still healthy 45%. True, the gap has narrowed but is still a clear 2%.
As of now, WRONG leads in the number of polls showing a majority and I expect this to continue into the future.
Over the last year there has been 36 polls of which 27 show WRONG in front, just 5 with RIGHT in the lead and 4 tied.
Bear in mind in the first year there was a total of 40 polls, with RIGHT in the lead 27 times, WRONG just 6 times and 7 were tied.
So, in total the position now is as follows:
Total No of polls since August 2016: 65
Polls with RIGHT IN THE LEAD: 28 - (22 in the first 27 polls)
Polls with WRONG IN THE LEAD: 29 - (26 in the last 31 polls)
Even: 8
Last time RIGHT was in the lead: 17th January 2018
Looked at annually:
2016 - (from August) 12 polls in total WRONG =1, RIGHT 11
2017 - 39 in total WRONG = 15, RIGHT = 17
2018 - (to date) 14 in total WRONG = 13, RIGHT = 1
