THE CABINET IS FALLING APART

Quite an eventful morning. There have been quite a few resignations, including Dominic Raab, Esther McVey and Suella Braverman but others are following. This was happening as the PM was on her feet in parliament and discovering there was nowhere near a majority for her deal. In fact I doubt if she will get much more than 260-275 MPs in favour - if that. Well short of the 320 needed.

Michael Gove cancelled a meeting as Secretary of State at DEFRA and has reportedly been offered Raab's old job at DEXEU.

Now, the old consumptive undertaker from Somerset has submitted a letter of no confidence in the PM to Graham Brady, chairman of the 1922 committee. This may well trigger a leadership contest and more chaos.

Brussels must look on with absolute dismay.

We are getting into unknown constitutional territory. But I have to say, it's all her own fault.
