EUROPEAN COURT OF JUSTICE

The European Court of Justice (CJEU) is going to become a big issue. Mrs May has set a red line that is designed to give an end to the supremacy of EU law in this country but the issue is very complex since many of the bodies that we still want to partner with like Euratom for instance are overseen by the CJEU. The Institute for Government have produced a couple of reports that shed some light on the options.

The first is Issues Concerning the CEJU (HERE) and a longer one, Brexit and the CJEU (HERE). Both deal with how our relationship with the court might play out in the coming months.
