The UK food industry warned this morning about a shortage of EU workers (HERE) and almost as if on cue, the government release figures showing net migration is down to its lowest level in the last three years at 246,000 (HERE) with the main reason being a 51,000 drop in the net figure for EU nationals coming here after a surge in the number returning home.
The long arguments about whether or not migration has been good for the UK are about to end. We will soon know without a doubt.
