David Jones, the MP and former DEXEU minister has attacked the chancellor (HERE) for saying we abide by EU rules during any transition period. To most reasonable people this will not come as a surprise. We asked for a transition but now want to specify what access we get and what rules we'll obey during transition. It is THEIR market and they won't offer us a bespoke arrangement because (a) they are under no obligation to and (b) it would take up valuable negotiating time for no purpose.
Jones is a solicitor from Llandudno. He obviously doesn't understand anything about industry or business and probably even less than nothing about international trade.
The country is gripped by a few nutcases intent on taking us back fifty years and ensuring we slip further and further behind Europe, lose influence and become poorer and poorer.
