THE PEOPLE'S VOTE MARCH

Wonderful day in London yesterday with the York for Europe group. The newspapers are giving the crowd as 100,0000 but I'm sure that is an exaggeration but it was certainly well attended. We couldn't all fit into Parliament Square so the picture above is from Whitehall just along from Downing Street.

The press coverage was excellent and I think this will perhaps spur others to join the anti-Brexit movement. Will it give us a vote on the final deal?  Probably not. The PM and the cabinet Brexiteers are dead set against it so I think it's unlikely - but we can hope.

During the day it had emerged that BoJo had opened his mouth again (HERE) in response to  a question from Belgium’s ambassador to the EU Rudolf Huygelen. This is our most senior diplomat using obscene language to describe his attitude to businesses in the UK, after Airbus and BMW warned about leaving the EU without a deal and a very long transition period.

Brexit is a disaster but we remainers are fortunate in our enemies - otherwise it could be much worse. They might have been half competent but they aren't.
