MORE POLLING EVIDENCE

The Observer has a heartening analysis (HERE) of YouGov polling supposedly showing a majority of constituencies now have remain majorities in them. I don't know if the techniques used are reasonable or if the figures are accurate, but it's a good story and I really hope it's true. I want to believe it and it certainly chimes with the YouGov polling that we've been following at WhatUKthinks.

ITV have picked it up HERE and The Guardian HERE although I don't see it in The Mail or The Telegraph or The Sun - there's a surprise!

Essentially, some data company called Focaldata, has used YouGov's recent poll of 10,000 people to show that when the referendum was held 433 constituencies vote to leave against 229 that had remain majorities. Now the picture is reversed with 341 constituencies having remain majorities against 288 for leave - at least according to the data.

As I said, it's a nice story and it keeps the pressure up. Let's hope it's true.
