Gove was talking recently in a key note speech on the environment and farming about a green Brexit (HERE). Now after the cabinet has apparently accepted the principle of a long transition period they are talking about a pragmatic Brexit (HERE). I don't know if I can take any more Brexits. We have had Brexit being Brexit, Brexit being hard and soft, red white and blue Brexit, green Brexit and now for heaven's sake, a pragmatic Brexit. We have finally found out what they talk about round the cabinet table. They spend most time trying to decide the latest adjective for Brexit!
A few days ago John Pienaar, the BBC's political correspondent, said the EU's demands for more clarity cannot be met because many of the decisions have not yet been made. We are into the second year after the referendum and almost four months after we invoked Article 50 and we are being told decisions have not yet been made. Compared to Brexit an omnishambles looks like a smooth, well oiled machine.
