A few days ago the 53rd poll in the WhatUKthinks series asking if Britain was right or wrong to vote to leave the EU was published. It showed a 1% lead for RIGHT and The Telegraph made quite a thing about it as if opinion was now getting behind Brexit (HERE). Bear in mind it was the first poll showing RIGHT in the lead since July 2017.
Well, the 54th poll was published today (HERE). It showed RIGHT at 40% and WRONG at 46%!
This is the biggest lead for either side since polling on this began in August 2016.So, the last poll was clearly a blip and the inexorable shift of opinion against Brexit goes on.
